Out of power points again? Let's fix that — properly.
Stacked double adaptors. A power board behind the couch. An extension cord under the rug. You shouldn't have to fight your own house to charge a phone. ACS Electrical installs new, extra, double, USB & outdoor power points across Perth — tidy enough that you'd never know we'd been.

You've run out of places to plug things in — and the "fixes" are starting to feel a bit dodgy
It creeps up on you. One double adaptor here. A six-way power board there. An extension cord running from the lounge to the kitchen bench because that's the only free outlet. Sound familiar?
The microwave, kettle and toaster all fight over one double power point.
A power board buried behind the entertainment unit you're quietly hoping never overheats.
Your home office is a cable nest — and you've tripped the safety switch twice already.
The kids charge devices off a lead trailing across the hallway — the one you keep tripping on.
You just renovated a gorgeous kitchen… but the appliances plug in all the wrong spots.
The outdoor area has no power, so the BBQ lights run off a cord through the laundry window.
The uncomfortable truth: overloaded power boards, daisy-chained adaptors and tired old outlets are one of the most common causes of house fires in Australia. What feels like a small inconvenience is often a real safety risk hiding in plain sight.
The good news — adding power points is one of the quickest, most affordable, highest-impact upgrades a licensed electrician can do. Most jobs are done and dusted in a single visit.

More than outlets — a safer, neater, more liveable home
Power exactly where you live
We plan placement around how you actually use each room — bedside, behind the TV, on the island bench, in the garage. No more leads across the floor.
A genuinely safer home
Every install meets the Wiring Rules (AS/NZS 3000) and is protected by a safety switch (RCD). The days of overloaded boards and warm power packs are over.
Neater & more valuable
Cords vanish, walls look clean, and good wiring quietly adds to your property's value and appeal — buyers and tenants notice.
No mess, no drama
We lay down protection, work carefully, and clean up before we leave. You shouldn't be able to tell we were there — except now everything works.
One job, one visit
Most installations and replacements are finished in a single appointment. You get your day back.
Honest, upfront pricing
You'll know the price before we pick up a tool. No "while we're here" surprises on the invoice — ever.
One team, every kind of outlet
Not sure which you need? Tell us what you're plugging in and where — we'll recommend the right setup.

EC 15832 Why this is one job you don't DIY
In Western Australia it's illegal — and genuinely dangerous — for anyone but a licensed electrician to install or alter power points. Bodged outlets, loose connections and overloaded circuits are a leading cause of electrical fires and shocks in the home.
-
National standard
Every installation meets the Wiring Rules, AS/NZS 3000.
-
RCD protection
We ensure the circuit is safety-switch protected — power cuts in a fraction of a second.
-
Proper load assessment
We check your switchboard can handle the extra outlets, not just shift the overload.
-
Genuine products
Australian-standards-approved power points, never no-name imports.
That power board behind the couch is a gamble. A properly installed power point isn't.

Power point installation FAQs
How much does it cost to install a power point in Perth?
It depends on the type of outlet, where it's going, and how easily we can run the cabling — a straightforward addition on an existing wall is very different from a new outlet on brick or outdoors. That's exactly why we give you an upfront, fixed quote before starting. Call us with what you need and we'll give you a clear price.
Can I install a power point myself to save money?
No — in WA, only a licensed electrician can legally install or alter power points, and for good reason. DIY electrical work is a major fire and shock risk, can void your insurance, and creates problems at sale or inspection time. It's one job worth doing right.
How long does it take?
Most power point installations and replacements are done in a single visit — often within an hour or two, depending on how many you're adding and access to your wiring.
Can you add USB power points?
Absolutely. USB-A and USB-C wall points are one of our most popular upgrades — perfect for bedsides, kitchens and desks, so you can charge devices without hunting for a plug pack.
Do you install outdoor power points?
Yes — weatherproof outdoor outlets for patios, alfresco areas, sheds, garages and pool equipment are no problem.
My power board or outlet feels warm or trips the switch — is that bad?
Yes — treat that as urgent. Warmth, scorching, buzzing or repeated tripping are warning signs. Stop using it and call us — we'll make it safe.
Do you do commercial work too?
We do. Offices, retail, hospitality and commercial fit-outs — same licensing, same standards, same care.
Will you make a mess of my walls?
We work neatly, protect your floors and furniture, and clean up before we leave. Where outlets sit on finished walls, we keep cuts minimal and reinstate as cleanly as practical.
Stop fighting over the one free outlet.
Let's add more — safely, tidily, and usually within the week. One quick visit from a licensed Perth electrician and it's sorted, properly and guaranteed.
